Step-by-Step Guide: Open Billing
Step 1: Open Subscription & billing
Click your avatar, then Billing.
You should see Billing / Subscription & billing.
View-only users see View-only access.
📌 Superhost or billing permission required.
Step 2: Start a trial or subscribe
If you have no subscription and permission to edit:
- Start with a 14-day free trial — click Start Free Trial. Stripe collects a card.
- Subscribe or renew — set Currency, Plan, and Number of licences, then Pay with Stripe.
Copy: You will be redirected to Stripe to complete payment securely.
After a trial starts: Your 14-day free trial has started…
An active subscription shows the expiry or trial end date.
Step 3: Review history and licences
Subscription history lists Status, Plan, Start/Expire, Amount, Licences, and Cancel subscription.
Cancel confirm: Cancel auto-renewal — no refund; access continues until expiry.
Manage licences assigns or unassigns licences to buyer users.
Step-by-Step Guide: Pay from the event editor
Step 1: Open Buy a Licence or Trial & licence
If the event shows Buy a Licence or Trial & licence, use:
- Try free for 14 days / Activate Free Trial
- Pay & Continue
That Stripe path is per event. Use Subscription history for past payments.
Key Considerations & Best Practices
- ✅ There is no invoice download list. Use Subscription history.
- ✅ Inviting participants and publishing requires an active licence or trial.
- ✅ The header Upgrade button is not a billing shortcut.
