How to create lots

Add Simple Lots or Advanced lots before you invite.

Table of contents

Lots in prokurit.ai are the commercial lines Participants bid on. The editor tab is Create Auction Lots. It appears when a Host enables Request for Quote or Online Auction on Settings.

You will learn how to:

  • Open Create Auction Lots
  • Use Simple Lots or Advanced
  • Upload or download Excel templates

📌 This guide walks you through creating lots in prokurit.ai.

Step-by-Step Guide: Create lots

Step 1: Enable RFQ or Online Auction

Click Settings.

Under Select Event Features, turn on Request for Quote or Online Auction.

Click Save & Go to Next Step until you reach Create Auction Lots.

You should see: Create multiple lots for your auction. Use Simple Lots for price-only lots and Advanced for multi-component lines.

Step 2: Choose Simple Lots or Advanced

Simple Lots

  • Price-only lines
  • Support RFQ rounds
  • Use Upload / Download for the lot template

📌 If multi-currency is on, simple-lot upload/download may be disabled. The UI tells you to use Advanced or turn off multi-currency.

Advanced

  • Multiple price/text components and line items
  • Use Use Template, Apply, and upload/download for advanced templates
  • Download an Excel template, populate the details, then upload it

Step 3: Add or import lots

Use the actions shown on the tab:

  • New Lot
  • Upload
  • Download
  • Download Lot Template
  • Excel upload
  • Delete Selected
  • Create Event Total
  • Use Template

You must add at least one lot (simple or advanced) before you can invite participants. Otherwise the event stays in Draft.

Click Save & Go to Next Step.

Key Considerations & Best Practices

  • ✅ The tab name is Create Auction Lots even when you are running an RFQ, not only a live auction.
  • ✅ Simple lots are price-only. Use Advanced when you need extra components or multi-currency upload.
  • ✅ Lots are required for invite readiness when RFQ or auction is enabled.
